• After ostrich feathers we found a very subtle material for the lampshade - onyx. Ostrich feathers need to be dyed to make a variety of colors, but the onyx used this time, will be purely natural!
• We simply drill holes in the onyx and mount it directly onto the lamp body, preserving the most original style.

Design Concept

• Inspired by the architectural elegance of the renowned horseshoe-shaped bar at Little House Balham, the Bronte sconce captures a moment of modern classicism. Its defining feature is a commanding domed silhouette, a half-column of light that projects a soft, confident presence on your wall. This substantial, rounded form draws the eye, creating a focal point that feels both grand and intimately welcoming.
  
• The true magic of the Bronte, however, lies in its masterful play with texture. Each sconce is meticulously crafted from ribbed, molded glass. Dozens of fine, vertical channels run the full length of the dome, creating a captivating tactile and visual rhythm. This intricate ribbing is then treated with a soft, semi-sheer frosted finish, a detail that elevates it from simple glass to a sophisticated filter of light.
